Behind the lens

Hi there! 

 My name is Dixi Apple, I'm a 31 year old wife, Mom and creative. I grew up within Columbiana County and attended the CCCTC, which is where I really dove into my love for photography. I'm a firm believer that it's not what camera you use but who's behind the camera that determines a great picture. I truly love what I do and strive to show that within my work!  Candid photography is really what I try to capture within every session of mine.  Yes, we love a good posed image but sometimes something naturally occurring is even better! I do try to give my clients a good combination of both. My photography style is bright, bold, warm and sometimes with a creative effect/finish-which makes each session unique!

 Here's a little more about me personally: I'm obsessed with anything nature related. Walking, hiking (I'll take a dense forest any day over the beach) , reading (especially) & photographing plants are a few of my favorite past times.  In addition, I'm passionate about fitness and you'll usually catch me in sweats or something athleisure related!

 Overall I couldn't picture myself doing anything else, and with the help of my loyal clients I can keep doing what I love! I hope you'll join me on this journey of mine and I look forward to (hopefully) working with you this year!
